Description:
This course introduces mechanical & inspection engineers to ASME, its codes
and standards, and the ASME Process and Power Piping Codes as it applies to
many industrial facilities. It provides an overview of ASME B16.5 Pipe
Flanges and Flanged Fittings, and also the Guides for the Inspection Test Plan
and Welding Symbols and Drawing. This course also reviews ASME II, V,
IX, AWS D1.1, Inspection Test Plan, Welding Symbols and Drawings
and BS EN ISO as they apply to many industrial facilities.
This course is designed to meet over a period of 2 weeks, 5 meeting per
week,8 hours per lecture, with a total of 80 hours/course.
